We started this company in 2019 because wanted to solve the big problem we stumbled into while building Live Your Message.
We were selling a LOT of courses that were built in the traditional way — the way that everyone else was doing it.
And we saw that only around 5% of our students were completing. After talking with other business owners and educators, we realized that this was an industry-wide problem affecting all businesses, and nobody was talking about it.
We decided to do something about it, because we didn't want to keep "failing" our students, and we knew this level of abandonment was a huge financial drain on our company. (Students who quit a course don't buy from you again, obviously).
That's what took us into gamification, adult learning psychology and Silicon Valley app & game techinques.
We implemented the ideas into our own courses and very quickly, our student completion rate had risen to over 50%.
We decided to create Xperiencify after enough of our students, clients & customers asked to use our platform.
Our Big Why is to help people who buy courses to get better results, so they can achieve their goals and dreams. Which in turn, that helps business owners like you touch so many more lives than you ever thought possible.

Hi! I’m Marisa! 👋
Co-founder of Xperiencify, CEO of Live Your Message, a global online business education brand, creator of over 30 courses, speaker and educator.
Having worked directly with tens of thousands of business owners and adult learners, Marisa was uniquely positioned to figure out what works and what doesn't when it comes to virtual learning and student motivation.
And it's this experience which led her to create the Experience Formula, the 10 core experiences which must be present in any online or virtual learning environment to create student learning and engagement.
The Experience Formula became the foundation of the Experience Product Masterclass, Marisa's signature 12-week program to design, market and sell an "Experience Product", and become the backbone of Xperiencify.

A self-taught marketer & entrepreneur, Murray has made a career out of building software platforms to make life easier for other business owners.
From 2011 until 2021, he was the chief marketing & technology officer at Live Your Message with his wife/business partner Marisa Murgatroyd.
Their number one focus was creating online courses to help entrepreneurs find, launch and scale their online business. And over 10 years they grew Live Your Message to over $25M in course sales and helped tens of thousands of entrepreneurs to build a business they love.
Now with Xperiencify, he's tackling the broken online education system.
Yu-kai Chou, Advisor
Yu-kai was one of the earliest pioneers in Gamification, starting his work in the industry in 2003.
Yu-kai is the Original Creator of the Octalysis Framework, and the author of Actionable Gamification: Beyond Points, Badges, and Leaderboards. Yu-kai has been a regular speaker/lecturer on gamification and motivation worldwide, including at organizations like Stanford/Yale/Oxford, Google, Tesla, IDEO LEGO, BCG, Turkish Airlines, the governments of UK, Singapore, South Korea, Kingdom of Bahrain, and many more. His design work has empowered over 1 Billion users’ experiences across the world.
In 2015, Yu-kai was rated #1 among the “Gamification Gurus Power 100” by RISE, and was also awarded the “Gamification Guru of the Year” Award multiple years in a row by the Gamification World Congress and the Gamification Europe Conference.

Hi! I’m Ladek!
I’ve been helping coaches, entrepreneurs, schools, governments and businesses create effective online education since 2015. As the Head of Success, I love having the opportunity to connect with the creators in our community every day.
Like most members of our community, I’m an entrepreneur in both practice and spirit and I’ve had the fortune of leading and exiting four businesses that I founded, co-founded or acquired across public sector contracting, banking, education and content creation. I’ve also lived as a global nomad for more than 20 years and I’ve found this often allows me to bring a unique perspective to any challenge or opportunity.
It’s one of my greatest pleasures to leverage these experiences to help others build the sustainable businesses they’ve been dreaming about, and I’m already looking forward to meeting you next!
